This month, WSOP PA and MI are awarding over $15,000 in additional prizes, including a seat to the WSOP 2023 Main Event.
The World Series of Poker will host a 12 Days of Poker campaign in December, giving players the opportunity to win a ticket to the WSOP 2023 Main Event, pokerfuse has learned.
The offer will run from December 7 through December 18 and will include daily tournaments with additional prizes on top of the guarantees. These are available in many forms, such as cash and tournament tickets. All participants in at least one event will be entered into a random drawing for a ticket to the WSOP 2023 Main Event.
In little over a week, WSOP action will begin in Pennsylvania and Michigan, so players who do not yet have an account may join up, get a WSOP US deposit bonus of up to $1,000, and be prepared to compete in all of these events.
For just $78, a player may participate in all 12 events and get 12 raffle tickets for a $10,000 Main Event seat.
WSOP 12 Days of Christmas: Important Specifics
From 7 December till 18 December
Available in Michigan and Pennsylvania, but not in New Jersey or Nevada.
Special prizes have been added to the guarantees of 12 special events.
Participate in any event to be entered into the WSOP 2023 Main Event prize draw.
Participate in all 12 tournaments (at a cost of $78) to get 12 raffle tickets.
One participant in each state will be awarded a $10,000 Main Event entry.
Buy-ins begin at $1 and correspond to the day of the campaign. For example, the tournament costs $1 on the first day of the promotion, $2 on the second, $3 on the third, etc. The guarantees are 100 times the buy-in amount.
The promotion’s methodology has never been used on the WSOP US platform. The tournament functions identically to a standard tournament, with the exception that each event contains extra rewards in addition to the guaranteed awards. These might range from directly awarding extra cash rewards to the winner to holding a random cash drawing for all participants.
For example, Event #2 gives a $109 Sunday major ticket through a random drawing. Event #6 provides $100 in cash to three fortunate players who reach the final table by random drawing. Event #12 – the last day of the campaign – will randomly award a $1000 WSOP 2023 seat.
All participants in these events will get an entry into the WSOP 2023 Main Event Seat Drawing, which is set for December 20. Those that compete in every competition will have twelve chances in the draw. However, a player may only win one entry for each tournament in which they participate; rebuys and re-entries do not count.
The operator will award a total of $15,000 in additional prizes, including a $10,000 WSOP 2023 Main Event ticket and a $1,000 WSOP 2023 entry.
This is a fairly generous gift, given that the total guarantees are $7,800 and the buy-ins are so cheap.

Curiously, the deal is exclusive to Michigan and Pennsylvania, but not New Jersey and Nevada.
This is likely due to the fact that WSOP Michigan and WSOP Pennsylvania patrons use 888poker’s new Poker 8 software, which allows this unusual promotional method. WSOP New Jersey and WSOP Nevada continue to employ outdated software.
Even though next year’s tournament is six months away, this is not the first time the WSOP US has given players a chance to win a seat. Immediately after the conclusion of the WSOP 2022 live series, the WSOP US network held a freeroll with WSOP 2023 tickets up for grabs.
To qualify for this special freeroll, players had to make a deposit during the month of August using a specific bonus code. The promotion was open to players in all four states in which WSOP operates: New Jersey, Nevada, Michigan, and Pennsylvania.
